The loan application and approval process for home construction loan are different in certain aspects than from the usual available housing loans. The process of availing home construction loans comprises the following:

# The land or plot should have been bought within a year

# The borrower has to make a rough estimate of the expenses incurred in constructing the house.

# If the cost of the plot is not included in the loan amount, only the estimation for construction of the house is taken into consideration

4. Home Expansion or Extension Loan

If you want to expand your existing home, for example add a new room or construct a new floor, you can also consider applying for a loan. The loan required for this kind of a situation is termed as home expansion or home extension loan.

5. Home Improvement Loan

As the name suggests, home improvement loans are availed by individuals who are looking to renovate their homes but lack finance. Availing a home improvement loan would help an individual renovate his or her house.
